In 2016, he created a YouTube channel named as The Social Factory, where he started to uploads prank videos and more but didn't get much desire hits. Elvish Yadav controversy starting from the gap of March-April, when he roasted some of the popular TikTok users and about cringe content on TikTok platform and uploaded a video titled Elvish Yadav Roasting TikTokers and the controversy started from there.In this video, he roasted a popular TikTok star named RevolverRani, who had more than 5 million followers on TikTok. She gets angry at him and uploaded an IGTV video by hitting him indirectly.She said that Elvish gets body-shamed about girls in his recent roasting video. Also said YouTube and TikTok like IIT and UPSC In the video, she said she needs more than 4 hours to make a 15s TikTok video and extra 2 hours for editing.

Replying on her IGTV video Lakshay Chaudhury also upload an IGTV video on her comments and said roasting is not all about body shaming, its a content and don't compare to IIT or UPSC.Again replying all these YouTubers Amir Siddiqui from TeamNawab had uploaded an IGTV video by saying that all YouTubers are copy content from TikTok and also said YouTubers didn't get good bonding and tagged many popular YouTubers including CarryMinati.And then CarryMinati uploaded a Final roasting video TikTok V/S YouTube The End, which has to get deleted by YouTube. In this controversy, every big YouTube stars including Ashish Chanclani, Harsh Beniwal, Angry Prash every one gets roasted Amir Siddiqui.
